THE FAKE FACTORY is an award-winning studio specializing in VIDEOART , IMMERSIVE ART, VIDEOMAPPING and VIDEODESIGN projects, established in Florence, the Art Capital of Italy, in 2001 by the artist and video-designer Stefano FAKE. Today THE FAKE FACTORY is a global network of 500 talented new media artists, architects, designers, painters, illustrators, videomakers, engineers, graphic designers, writers, musiciants, philosophers.
The Fake Factory deals with linguistic experimentation related to the new media and is now an italian and International reference for the contemporary research on video design.
The Fake Factory took part in the carrying out of several hundreds of video design project: 3D videomapping; immersive videoart experiences; video and TV productions; luminous; performances; videoinstallations; mapping projections, architectural installation; stage designs for concerts, theatre ad opera; stage design for multimedia runaways and virtual fashion shows; visual settings for Museum, Galleries and Cultural events; creation of films and videoart installations.

The external structure of this building became a giant screen on which “Mappa Mundi Cities and Heritage to the Future” was projected.This initiative was carried out on the occasion of Mondiacult, the UNESCO international conference on cultural policies. The show was promoted by the Italian Embassy and the Italian Institute of Culture, promoting Italian digital creativity in Mexico.

Farnesina Digital Art Experience enhances and promotes the Italian excellence operating in the digital art sector through the organization of shows, exhibitions and performances or participation in international sector events.
The project is promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in collaboration with the Embassies, the Italian Cultural Institutes and ICE, the Agency for Promotion Abroad.The organization and promotion are handled by ImmersiveArtExperience.com and Bright Festival with the artistic direction of Stefano Fake.
